Speaker
Patrick Jarnfelt | Developer, Copenhagen Game Collective
Patrick Jarnfelt is a game developer that has been active in the indie gaming scene in Denmark. He is currently working as a freelancer for various Danish indie game companies and is the co-founder of Knap Nok Games and The Copenhagen Game Collective. He has organized a myriad of game-related events, including the first Play Festival in Copenhagen; w00t, focusing on all type of play, urban games, physical games, board games and talks etc. Patrick is interested in the interplay between the physical, virtual and social space and how to enhance the player experience through nuvelle gaming interfaces. As a consequence, he has created games with Move controllers that use no screen, Kinect games where physical interaction between players is key, games with magnets, brain scanners (EEG), muscle sensors (MMG) and bikes etc.
