Emphasis is placed on process, consisting of music design, production, and implementation. The panel addresses all key aspects of music development in Sony titles including its overall approach, the design phase, preproduction planning, production and implementation. Emphasis is placed on how the connection is made by way of a managed process between the original creative vision for music in a game and the ultimate concrete result that goes out to the world. Idea Takeaway: The attendee takes away insight into the guiding philosophy and methodology behind game music development at Sony - knowledge that can be used in future game music endeavors, shared with other professional colleagues or simply retained as a reference point for at least how one major developer approaches music for games.
